Sebastian's first time at the beach!

Hi,

It's days like today that make the cost of living in California worth it. It was a perfect summer day, hot but with a cool breeze. My friends decided to go to the beach and although I usually either stay home or leave Sebastian, it was time for his first time at the beach.

I think he is too little to fully enjoy it. He didn't seem to mind the sand, until he tasted it.

The sound of the ocean seemed to relax him but not enough to get him to sleep. Since his nap was shorter than usual he was sleepy. 

But his pictures are adorable.

Son días como hoy que entiendo por que es tan caro vivir en California. Fue un día de verano perfecto, hizo calor pero con un aire un poco fresco. Mis amigas decidieron ir a la playa y aunque normalmente me quedaría en casa o dejaría a Sebastián, decidí que era hora de que Sebastián fuera a la playa por primera ves. 

Creo que todavia esta muy chiquito para gozarla. No le molesto la arena, hasta que la probo. El sonido del mar lo relajo, pero no lo suficiente para dormir. Como su siesta fue mas corta de lo normal tenia sueño y estaba de malas.

Pero sus fotos me encantaron.

I just love summer.  Before Sebastian was born I spent countless hours laying out. How times have changed. Now we go to pool for 30 minutes and call it a day. We had tried taking him to the pool a few months ago but he didnt really like it. This time he LOVED it!

There were two little girls there and he wanted to go to them. He eventually went to them and forgot about his mother pretty quickly. I guess I should get used to it.  He is such a traitor!

Amo el verano. Antes de que naciera Sebastian pasaba horas tomando sol. Pero los tiempos an cambiado, ahora después de media hora nos regresemos a casa. Hace algunos meses lo llevamos a la alberca pero no le gusto. Esta ves le encantó! 

Pero es un traidor, vio a una niñas chicas y se quería ir con ellas. Es más, se fue con ellas y se olvidó de su mama. Yo creo que me debería ir acostumbrado.   

Espero que estén gozando su verano.                                

A walk to the park

Today we took what has become our daily walk to the park. It's really close and he absolutely loves it. We've noticed that he gets really bored at home, so we have to make sure to take him out at least twice a day.

He was mesmerized watching the little kids playing. My baby wants to grow up already! In the pictures that he is turning, he is looking at the kids. He barely wanted to play with me, he just wanted to stare at the them. It's like he doesn't understand why they are little. He is used to seeing mostly adults since most of my friends don't have kids. 

He never wants to leave and arches his back when I try to put him back in the stroller :) 

Hoy, como todos los días hoy nos fuimos caminando al parque. Nos queda bastante cerca y le encanta. Nos hemos dado cuenta que se aburre mucho en el departamento, así qué lo tenemos que sacar al mínimo dos veces al día. 

Estaba completamente hipnotizado con unos niños que estaban jugando. Mi bebe ya quiere crecer! En todas las fotos que esta volteando los esta volteando a ver. Casi no quiso jugar conmigo, su única ilusión era ver a los niños. Creo que el no entiende por que están tan chiquitos. Como la mayoría de mis amigas no tienen hijos el esta acostumbrado a ver puros adultos. 

Nunca se quiere ir y no me deja meterlo a la carriola :)

Bridal Showers

     




It seems that everyone is getting married, it must be an age thing ;-). The best part is that I have my little guy to tag along with me. He loves being out and seeing people (unless he is tired, then he's kind of a brat). Everyone tells me how beautiful he is which makes me believe that he really is as cute as I see him and it's not just my mothers love, although I would see him as the cutest thing in this world regardless of what other people thought.

These are pictures from two bridal showers we attended one from this week and one from the week before.  Doesn't he look adorable?

Parece que todo el mundo se esta casando, debe de tener que ver con mi edad ;-). La mejor parte es que tengo a mi muchachito que me acompaña a todas partes. Le encanta estar fuera de la casa y ver a gente (al menos que este cansado- en ese caso es medio sangrón). Todo el mundo me dice lo hermoso que esta lo cual me hace creer que realmente esta tan bonito como yo lo veo y no es nada mas el amor de madre que le tengo, aunque yo lo vería como la cosa mas hermosa del mundo independientemente de lo que otras personas pensaran.

Hi everyone,

Since a lot of our friends and family live out of town I wanted a way to share the special moments we experience with Sebastian. He is growing up so fast and already has a little-big personality. Everything is new and exciting for him so I titled our blog "Through Eyes of a Little One."  I want to document random things that catch his attention or mesmerize him.  I hope through this blog you can watch Sebastian grow up with us.

Ya que tenemos familia y amigos que no viven aquí, quiera una manera de compartir momentos especiales que vivimos con Sebastian. Esta creciendo tan rápido y ya tiene su propia personalidad.
